S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Cooperation with Foreign Forces for War Moves against DPRK

Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- There took place the 40th military committee meeting between the U.S. and south Korean authorities recently. At the meeting the south Korean warmongers held a confab with their master over the "proposal for intensifying joint defense posture" and transfer of wartime operation control. At the 47th annual security consultative meeting held the next day they published a 16-point "joint statement" the core of which are "guidelines of concept and principle of package counter-missile operation of the alliance" and the "plan for transferring wartime operation control", while talking about someone's "aggression" and "provocation".

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says:

The military confabs were aimed to round off a scenario for invading the north and ignite a war at any cost.

The "plan for transferring wartime operation control" discussed at the confabs is a product of the sinister ploy of the master and servant to put greater spurs to the preparations for a war against the north.

The south Korean military forces are staging war maneuvers against the DPRK together with foreign forces almost every day, getting on the nerves of it and inciting a war atmosphere.

It is the invariable stand of the DPRK to return good faith for good faith and toughest action for tough action. If the south Korean authorities persist in the racket for a war against the north in league with foreign forces, defying its repeated warnings, they will face a final ruin.

They would be well advised to face up to the reality, make a political decision suited to the trend and stop at once cooperation with foreign forces for a war against the north.
