Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a commentary in this regard:

This is vicious insult to the dignity and system in the DPRK and unpardonable confrontation moves chilling the hard-won atmosphere for improving the north-south relations.

The "resolution on human rights in north Korea" fabricated by the U.S. and its followers is a mockery of inviolable human rights.

The desperate efforts of the south Korean authorities to cook up the resolution in collusion with outside forces clearly prove that they are seeking confrontation and "unification of social systems" only, not inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation and improved relations.

The south Korean authorities are busy with the moves to hurt the fellow countrymen in the north in collusion with outsiders, while talking about "dialogue and cooperation." Their behaviors make people skeptical about whether they are sincerely willing to improve the north-south relations.

It is reckless for the south Korean authorities to get frantic with the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket in collusion with outside forces in the international arena though it is high time they worked hard to preserve the hard-won atmosphere for improvement of the inter-Korean relations in the light of demand of Koreans and the trend of the times.

The north-south relations have not yet been placed on the orbit of full-scale improvement since the north-south agreement in August. It is entirely because that the south Korean authorities resort to the moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK in collusion with outside forces, seized with the ambition escalating the confrontation.

The south Korean authorities would be well advised to properly see through the danger of their anti-DPRK "human rights" racket, source of distrust and confrontation between the fellow countrymen, and think twice over it.
