Horse Riding Course in DPRK Produces First-term Graduates

Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The Mirim Riding Club in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has run its juvenile extracurricular horse riding course, drawing many young people. According to Ri Tong Jun, secretary of the Horse Riding Association, schoolchildren at the age of 12-15 are allowed to attend the riding course, held between April and October every year. During the course, its trainees get theoretical and practical education on how to ride and keep a horse, anti-epizootic knowledge and other matters. The course turned out its first-term graduates at the end of October. At least 20 of the trainees received a certificate of horseman. |
