Phyongsong Synthetic Leather Factory in DPRK

| Pyongyang, November 13 (KCNA) -- The Phyongsong Synthetic Leather Factory in Phyongsong City, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK strives to contribute to the development of the country's footwear industry. The factory, whose processes from raw material feeding to shipment are automated, has applied nearly 70 new technologies to its production, developed 19 kinds of new products in recent years and thus, opened up a vista for mass-producing synthetic leather. The factory has also operated its sci-tech room on a normal basis to improve the employees' technical knowledge and skills. |
