This was expressed in the statement adopted at the inaugural ceremony of the committee for remembering Comrade Kim Jong Il held in Nakhodka, Russia on November 14.

The statement noted:

Upholding the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il firmly defended the socialist cause and turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power and military power possessed of nuclear weapons by pursuing Songun politics.

This was the greatest exploits he performed and serves as a powerful driving force enabling the DPRK to weather any difficulty and trial.

The army and people of the DPRK are achieving amazing successes in building a thriving socialist nation as they are equipped with the spirit of defending the leader unto death and the revolutionary soldier spirit.

The Workers' Party of Korea, army and people are closely rallied behind the leader.

The cause of Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

We boundlessly revere Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders, and will always remember their undying feats.
