S. Korean Protesters Demand Apology for Police Brutal Suppression
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Leading members of organizations including the headquarters for all-out people's action, the south Korean Federation of Peasants Associations, the Solidarity for Progress and the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions launched a sit-in outside the Hospital of Seoul National University on Nov. 17.

Prior to the sit-in, they held a press conference.

They denounced the police for firing tear liquid at the protestors during the all-out people's action, putting a peasant in a critical condition.

This was a deliberate attempt to kill people, they charged.

They demanded the president make personal apology for this brutal crackdown and dismiss the chief of the Police Agency.

They warned their sit-in would go on till their demands are met.

The Democratic People's Action also held a similar press conference on the same day.
