Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says that the world community recognizes that there is no country in the world that threatens Japan.

It goes on:

News analysts are raising a question as to why Japan is so persistently beefing up its armed forces though there is no substantial threat to it.

In a word, Japan intends to reinvade Asia any time with huge armed forces.

It is an invariable ambition and strategic goal of the Japanese reactionaries to dominate Asia.

Japan has the precedent of sustaining a disgraceful defeat while working hard to realize its "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" aimed at dominating Asia during the Second World War.

The Japanese reactionaries concede that Japan was defeated because it was weak in its military muscle.

Hence, they have put spurs to turning Japan into a major military power while beefing up its armed forces for decades.

They calculate that in order to attain their goal they should steadily accumulate their military muscle for overseas invasion and create social climate and durable legal environment necessary for it.

That's why they are advocating the validity of the "security legislation" and so frantically stepping up the arms-buildup.

The reality requires every country not to slacken vigilance against Japan dreaming of a war of aggression but to keep a strict watch on it.
