Latin American Parliament Supports DPRK's Proposal for Peace Treaty
Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The Latin American Parliament posted an article supporting the DPRK government's proposal for peace treaty on its Internet website on Nov. 12.

The article said the parliament extends solidarity to the DPRK keeping to its path despite the U.S. constant threats.

At the 70th UN General Assembly the DPRK clarified once again its fair and above-board stand to replace the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty to meet an urgent need to remove the danger of the outbreak of a war and create the atmosphere of lasting peace on the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. is trying to make the public convince that the DPRK is posing threat to the world peace and security but it is just a pretext it cooked up to bring more of its forces to the peninsula and its vicinity.

The DPRK maintains the conclusion of the peace treaty to create a peaceful environment for building a thriving socialist nation and improving the standard of people's living.

But the U.S. is rendering the situation on the peninsula tense while interrupting in every way the DPRK's sincere efforts.
