Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The fourth meeting of the frontrankers of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement opened in Pyongyang Friday.

The meeting will review the achievements and the experience gained in the movement and discuss tasks and ways for developing the movement onto a new higher stage in all fields and units.

Present at the meeting were Pak Pong Ju, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok and other senior officials of the party and the state and chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the Workers' Party of Korea, frontrankers of the units which won the three-revolution red flag, merited persons in the Songun era and officials of the relevant fields.

Officials of the units which won the three-revolution red flag including industrial establishments and farms in Pyongyang and exemplary three-revolution frontrankers attended the meeting as observers.

Pak Pong Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C. the WPK and premier of the Cabinet, delivered a historic letter "Let Us Bring About a Fundamental Turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in Line with the Demands of the Developing Revolution" sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un to the participants in the meeting.

Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the C.C. the WPK, made a report.

He said that the three-revolution red flag movement that successfully carried forward the history and tradition of the Juche-oriented mass movement has powerfully propelled the revolution and construction, fully demonstrating its attraction and vitality under the guidance of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu over the past four decades.

President Kim Il Sung initiated mass movements such as the general ideological mobilization movement for nation building and the Chollima movement at each turning point of the revolution and led the revolution and construction along the only road of victory by giving full play to the indomitable mental spirit and tremendous creative energy of the Korean people, he noted, and went on:

Leader Kim Jong Il who perfectly embodied the President's mode of leading the mass movement initiated a mass movement for winning the three-revolution red flag in November Juche 64 (1975) and saw to it that the workers of Komdok and agricultural workers of Chongsan-ri held its torch before others.

In November 1986 Kim Jong Il made sure that the first meeting of the frontrankers of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement was held and he sent a historic letter "Let Us Step Up Three Revolution Red Flag Movement" to it, clearly indicating the orientation and ways for dynamically waging the movement in an extensive and profound way as required by the developing revolution.

The undying revolutionary feats performed by Kim Jong Il in the history of the Three-Revolution Red Fag Movement are being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un is opening up a new chapter of the movement, holding fast to the line of the three revolutions -ideological, technological and cultural- as an eternal signpost for winning the final victory of the Korean revolution.

It is the lifeline to be invariably held fast to in the movement to firmly defend and further glorify the undying leadership exploits performed by the great leaders in the history of the Juche-oriented mass movement.

All fields and units should regard the behests of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as important guidelines and confidently orient the movement into the work for realizing them and thus, translate the behests and desire of the great leaders into reality.

The reporter called upon all the party organizations and officials and three-revolution frontrankers to bring about a fundamental turn in the movement and continue making uninterrupted innovations and advances in the drive for building a thriving nation and bringing earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche, in hearty response to the historic letter Kim Jong Un sent to the participants in the meeting.

Speeches were made.

The meeting goes on.
