The statement said:

The U.S. did not hope the conclusion of the peace treaty with the DPRK originally. Because the conclusion would make it impossible to justify its military edge in Asia and the encircling net and pressure on the countries around the Korean peninsula would end in failure.

If the U.S. truly hopes the peaceful solution of the issues concerning the peninsula and the world, it should stop the development and modernization of nuclear weapons and their proliferation to different countries first of all and completely dismantle its nuclear weapons, to begin with.

It is a lesson of history that the U.S. imperialists reduce any agreements to empty papers without hesitation to maintain its power, make economic profits and realize the world domination ambition in disregard of international conventions and law.
