Minju Joson Slams U.S. Development of Nuclear Weapons

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The U.S. air force is pushing forward the development of an undetectable mobile launcher or new ground-launched strategic nuclear missile program capable of being deployed in a tunnel, and this has reached the final phase, according to the Washington Times shortly ago. Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a commentary: This indicates the U.S. desperate efforts to retain the position of the "world's only superpower" by overriding Russia and China in the field of strategic nuclear force. It is the U.S. strategic calculation to have an unchallenged strategic armed force more sophisticated and powerful in striking capability than any other powers and thus overpower and contain its rivals and put the world under its control in the end, the commentary notes, and goes on: The situation goes to prove that the U.S. is the arch criminal sparking off arms race and posing the danger of nuclear proliferation and nuclear blackmail to the world. What enrages the international community, in particular, is that the U.S. is mocking at humankind while crying out for building a "world without nuclear weapons" despite its desperate maneuver to hold an unchallenged nuclear edge. The U.S. calculates that it can maintain its position as the "world's only superpower" if it keeps stockpiling nuclear weapons. But it is nothing but a foolish ambition of a nuclear maniac. Nuclear arms race is like pouring water into a bottomless jar, an act little short of pushing the U.S. into ruin. The U.S. has to bear in mind that its policy of military stand-off will never work, and drop its ambition for world domination. |
