The world lost the most prominent statesman as H.E. Kim Jong Il, leader of the DPRK, passed away on Dec. 17, 2011.

H.E. Kim Jong Il was, indeed, the greatest man.

He was the outstanding thinker and theoretician who comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and great master of leadership who trained the Korean people as the most dignified and great people.

He was, at the same time, the peerlessly patriot who performed great exploits in the efforts to accomplish the cause of the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea, the defender of justice and peace who made undying contributions to the global cause of independence and tender-hearted father who dedicated his all to the people's happiness all his life.

The world does not know such great man as Kim Jong Il who performed distinguished feats and dedicated his soul and energy to the people.

Kim Jong Il will always be alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the world progressives.
