In this drive, a number of songs are playing a great role in encouraging them to perform great feats in different fields of socialist construction.

Typical of them are "On the Road of Fighting together with the General", "A Soldier's Wish" and "The General Is the Destiny of Korea", theme songs of feature films created before and after the 6th Congress of the WPK (1980).

Those songs are run through with the indomitable faith of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who unconditionally and fully carried out the lines and policies advanced by President Kim Il Sung and defended him at the cost of their lives with absolute trust in him.

Jong Kwang Chol, a student of Kim Il Sung University, said that the songs inspire all the people with the fresh will to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche in the spirit of Paektu.

Kim Un Hye, a worker of the Pyongyang Electric Cable Factory 326, said the songs are encouraging all the young people in the DPRK to live and work in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu and perform great feats in the production to greet the 7th Congress of the WPK.
