Present there on invitation were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of External Economic Relations, Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Laos Friendship Association, other officials concerned, diplomatic envoys and representatives of the international bodies.
