Marijan Kubik, international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize significant political and cultural events praising the sacred revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and his undying feats in the capital and local areas from Nov. 19 to Dec. 24.
