All the buildings in the street represent well the idea of the Workers' Party of Korea calling for attaching importance to science and talents.

Typical of them is a 53-storied building, the highest one peculiar in architectural style.

From the architectural point of view, it has six semi-elliptic wings with elevator shafts and stairways as their centre, which looks like the electron orbit when looking down from the sky.

On the top of the building, there is a globe and a model satellite going round it, which are supported by a tower, to be symbolic of the space science.
