Deep Attention Paid to Environmental Protection of Pyongyang

| Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A number of achievements have been made in environmental protection of Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Over 150 settling ponds were repaired this year to prevent pollution of the Taedong and Pothong rivers. Taking the lead in this repairing campaign were officials and employees of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, Pyongyang Hosiery Factory, Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory, Mangyongdae Chicken Farm and other industrial establishments in the city. |
