Food Show Conducive to Development of Traditional Dishes
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A national food show took place here some days ago.

What caught visitors’ eyes at the show were local specialties like Pyongyang cold noodle, Pyongyang Onban (cooked rice served in chicken soup) and chicken soup boiled with ginseng.

According to Jo Hi Guk, secretary of the C.C., Korean Association of Cooks, a number of local specialties were presented to the show.

In particular, local specialties presented by Ryanggang won high appraisal at the show, he said, adding:

The show came to be an occasion conducive to improving the diet of our people.
