Speakers said that many achievements have been made in different countries thanks to the dynamic work to reduce the number of victims of AIDS.

They stressed the need for the healthcare field to steadily intensify hygienic information service and monitoring for preventing AIDS and prevent virus infection and spread.

The event explained the world situation on AIDS and preventive measures against AIDS. Then followed a performance given by the hygienic information disseminating team of Sosong District People's Hospital.

Meanwhile, information services for preventing AIDS were made at hygienic information halls in Pyongyang and all provinces on the same day.
