The Myanmar committee for remembering leader Kim Jong Il said this in a press release issued at its inaugural ceremony on Nov. 26.

On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il many foreign countries are organizing remembrance committees to highly praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il who dedicated his whole life to the prosperity of the DPRK, people's happiness and human cause of independence.

The Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar formally inaugurated a Myanmar committee for remembering leader Kim Jong Il on Nov. 26, 2015.

The remembrance committee extends firm support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving nation and reunifying the country by carrying out Kim Jong Il's behests under the outstanding leadership of Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the ceremony were figures of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar.
