The message said that the mutual trust and understanding were deepened on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the opening of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations with the Kingdom of Thailand would continue favorably developing on the principle of mutual benefits, the message wished the prime minister greater success in his responsible work for the political stability and economic development of the country.

Meanwhile, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong sent a similar message to his Thai counterpart Don Pramudwinai.
