S. Korean People's Actions against Authorities' Unpopular Rule Unabated
Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- South Korean people of different social standings are escalating their actions against the unpopular rule of the conservative group.

The Federation of Peasants Associations, the Federation of Women Peasants Associations and other peasants' organizations of south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the "National Assembly" on November 30 in demand of the stop to the moves for "Free Trade Agreement" aiming at violating the right to existence.

Speakers there said the authorities are busy with concluding "FTA" with outside forces in disregard of the peasants' right to existence though foreign farm products are flooding most of the south Korean markets.

The speakers warned that if the "regime" and the "NA" conclude the "FTA," turning a deaf ear to the demand of the peasants, they would face strong resistance.

On the same day the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of south Korea launched one-man demonstration in front of the building of the "NA" in Youido, Seoul.

He declared that he would continue the demonstration till December 9 in demand of the withdrawal of the bill for retrogressive revision of the labor law.
