Its chief engineer Choe Mi Ok told KCNA that the factory was built under the loving care of supreme leader Kim Jong Un for people's wellbeing.

The factory, equipped with latest facilities, turns out over 300 kinds of products, including candies, processed meat and soft drinks, catfish sausage and smoked catfish, she said.

In particular, the soft drink made of Rosa davurica is getting popular among citizens as it is rich in vitamin, she added.

All the employees and officials of the factory are now working hard to greet the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with increased production.

The factory, located in Pothonggang District, Pyongyang, went into operation in June last year.
