Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Romanian committee for remembering Kim Jong Il, said in his speech that Kim Jong Il was the great leader of the Korean people who creditably carried forward the idea and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and performed feats for the Korean revolution and the world socialist cause, adding:

He put forward the original line of the Songun revolution and directed great efforts to bolstering national defense capabilities and thus developed the Korean People's Army into an invincible army.

The Korean people have advanced along the road of socialism despite the imperialists' vicious moves to stifle it thanks to the outstanding and tested leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, will always be remembered by the world progressives.

Harn Sinuraya, manager of the Rabitra Bahtera Pratama Co. of Indonesia, said that Kim Jong Il was the people's leader who dedicated all his life to the people's happiness till the last moments of his life.
