Black-hearted Aim Sought by U.S. in Trumpeting about "Threat" from DPRK Disclosed

Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is noisily vociferating about "threats" from other countries although it is driving the world into mayhem and grave danger of nuclear war by flexing its military muscle which it claims "strongest" in the world, Rodong Sinmun Friday says in an article. The article goes on: "Threat" from the DPRK is what the U.S. is vociferating more noisily than anything else. After the Soviet Union was disintegrated, the U.S. cited "threat" from north Korea more than anything else and it has steadily hyped the fiction about it. By "threat" from DPRK it means the nuclear weapons and missiles to which it had access for self-defence are "threat" to the U.S. Clear are the aims sought by the U.S. in floating the fiction. By doing so, it seeks to justify the permanent presence of the U.S. troops in south Korea. Its another aim is to steadily spread the story of "threat" from the DPRK in a bid to set up an international cooperation system for pressuring the DPRK. With no desperate effort can the U.S. save its hostile policy toward the DPRK from the mire of being thrown into the dustbin of history. The DPRK's deterrent for self-defence will grow stronger at increased tempo as long as the U.S. is working hard to stifle the DPRK. |
