Trotsky Serano, secretary general of the Ecuadorian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, said in his speech that Kim Jong Il was the peerless patriot and great revolutionary who defended the sovereignty of the country and nation and guaranteed the ever-lasting happiness of the Korean people, and prominent leader of the world socialist movement.

He stressed that Kim Jong Il's greatest exploit was that he firmly defended socialist Korea from the imperialists' moves to stifle it and global cause of independence and ensured peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the world.

Milton Burbano Bohorquez, chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that the whole life of Kim Jong Il was one of devotion to the Korean people's happiness and cause of the country's independent and peaceful reunification and global cause of independence and his revolutionary idea and exploits would be immortal.

B. C. Gupta, chairman of the Juche Idea Study Society of Indian Delhi, said at the seminar that Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, was the great master of the independent politics who performed the undying feats for the Korean revolution and human cause of independence.
