Asia's Football Queens Heading to U-17

| Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The DPRK team will head to the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup next year as the Asian champion, according to the FIFA 2015 November review of international women's football. According to the review, the DPRK team recaptured the continental title again at the 2015 AFC U-16 Women's Championship by beating its Japanese rival 1:0. The review noted that Ri Hae Yon scored the decisive goal in the finals and also earned the Most Valuable Player award for her sparkling performances across the tournament. |
