Workers, technicians and officials of the complex and scientists and researchers of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Chongjin University of Mining and Metallurgy and University of Sciences successfully put the huge hot rolling process on a CNC basis of Korean style and completed several projects.

The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea sent a congratulatory message to the workers, scientists, technicians and officials who performed shining feats in modernizing the major production process of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex.

There took place meetings for conveying the message at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the automation institute and control machine institute under the State Academy of Sciences and Kim Chaek University of Technology respectively.

The WPK Central Committee in the message highly praised workers and officials of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, scientists and technicians of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Chaek University of Technology and other units for successfully updating the major production process as a proud gift to the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK and fully demonstrating the might of Juche-oriented science and technology.
