AA Should Be Replaced with Peace Treaty: Nigerian Organization
Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted on its website an article titled "Armistice Agreement should be replaced with peace treaty" on Dec. 3.

The article said:

The DPRK clarified its fair and reasonable stance on replacing the AA with a peace treaty several times to defuse the danger of a war and tension and create a peaceful climate on the Korean Peninsula.

However, the U.S. is still talking about the denuclearization and resumption of the six-party talks while insisting that an important advance should be made in denuclearization before replacing the AA with a peace treaty.

From a logical point of view, the U.S. assertion that if the DPRK unilaterally disarms itself first, peace will come can never convince anyone in the present situation in which the former persistently seeks its hostile policy towards the latter, threatening its existence and both of them are still technically at war.

The DPRK's claim that if the peace treaty is concluded and the end of the U.S. hostile policy towards the former is confirmed, all problems such as the latter's concern can be settled is very justifiable.

The DPRK and the U.S., the responsible parties for the conclusion of the peace treaty, should discuss the issue of concluding the peace treaty without any precondition.
