The whole life of Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, was a noble life of a genuine revolutionary and a great leader who devoted himself to the victory of the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

He devoted himself to accomplishing the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung and resolutely foiled the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK.

Thanks to his wise leadership, the DPRK has turned into a socialist state protecting the interest of the popular masses and an invincible power emerging victorious in the confrontation with the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces.

The vice-chairman of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups and other personages praised Kim Jong Il for frustrating the imperialists' moves for stifling the DPRK and firmly defending the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in the rest of the world by pursuing the Songun politics.
