Fascist Action against S. Korean Workers' Struggle Denounced

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The minister of Employment and Labor of south Korea at a meeting on December 14 branded the general strike to be staged by the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) as an "illegal one" and said it would strictly cope with it, according to the south Korean KBS.

This reckless remark is a vivid expression of the dictatorial nature of the present ruling forces as it takes no thought of why the workers are compelled to stage a general strike.

The south Korean people of all social strata are waging the protest actions everywhere as they cannot bear any more the ceaseless disasters and ever more undisguised misrule against the people.

But the ruling forces are countering the actions with the merciless suppression instead of lending an ear to the voice of the people.
