The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on Dec. 9 carried an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il's motto is to believe in people as in Heaven" illustrated with his photo.

The paper said:

Kim Jong Il set the improvement of the people's living standard as a top priority and the highest goal and always made long journeys for field guidance to translate the people's ideal into a reality.

He continued to give field guidance in 2011, the last year of his great life.

It is by no means accidental that the Korean people writhed in bitter grief over his demise, startling the world.

The venerable image of Kim Jong Il as the tender-hearted father of the people will always be kept in the hearts of the Korean people.

Posted on the website of the news agency of DR Congo on Dec. 9 were articles sub-titled "Genius of ideology and theory" and "Great statesman for independence" under the headline of "Leader Kim Jong Il will always be alive in the hearts of the world progressives".
