The book contains 95 works he published between January and July in Juche 58 (1969).

The works deal with the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by leading the work of establishing the party's monolithic ideological system and intensifying the ideological education on a higher level in order to bring about an epochal phase in building a socialist economy, bolstering up the national defence capabilities and effecting a turn in art and literature.

Among the works there are those clarifying the idea that the people's army should never make even a step concession in establishing a thorough monolithic ideological system of the party by enhancing the role of its party organizations and political organs, in arming all the servicepersons with the revolutionary idea of the party and in increasing the national defence capabilities.

Contained in the book are works which indicate not only the principles and methods of the party work for radically improving the working method and style of party officials but the tasks and ways for ensuring the automation of production processes that will help lessen the workers' burden and increase the productivity, and manufacturing more machines indicative of the might of Juche-oriented industry.

The book also contains works which give clear-cut solution to practical issues arising in the socialist construction such as building many poultry farms and raising more hens at the cooperative farms to provide the people with enough meat and eggs.
