S. Korean Organizations Denounce U.S. Forces' Germ Weapons Experiments

Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- The Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society, the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and other civic and public organizations of south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on December 18 to condemn the atrocity of the U.S. forces, according to the south Korean KBS and CBS.

The organizations said it has been disclosed that the U.S. forces carried out 15 germ weapons experiments from 2009 to 2014 after introducing anthrax samples into the U.S. military base in Ryongsan and even conducted experiments on pest germ.

They demanded the U.S. forces withdraw the offensive biological war strategy and doctrine targeting the north and stop at once the U.S.-south Korea joint war maneuvers aimed at germ warfare.

On the same day the south Korean Council of Christian Churches released a similar statement.

It stressed that the U.S. government has to make an official apology before the south Korean people and punish the persons responsible.
