He said that Kim Jong Il met big challenges lying in the road of socialist Korea and turned the DPRK into a political and military power with self-supporting economy under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism.

The successes made by the Korean people under his leadership clearly prove the vitality and validity of the Juche idea which helps solve all the problems by their own efforts in conformity with the situation of the country while taking the position of master in the revolution and construction and firmly adhering to independence and creativity, the general secretary noted, adding:

The Workers' Party of DR Congo and its people expressed their admiration at the DPRK government firmly preserving the guiding principles for political sovereignty, self-supporting economy and national capabilities for self-defence.

We praise Kim Jong Il for achieving the unity and cohesion of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The DPRK will always emerge victorious and demonstrate its mightiness to the world, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il, as long as Marshal Kim Jong Un is carrying forward the cause of Juche in the van of the Korean revolution.
