They included the chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the vice-director of the International Relations Department of the United Russia Party, director of the International Affairs Department of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, the vice-director of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, a secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the director of the Forum Book Publishing House of Russia and the head of the Orchestra of the 21st Century. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the photo and pictures showing President Kim Il Sung standing together with Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Sazhi Umalatova, chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, said:

All the members of our party are paying the noblest tribute to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of his demise.

It is our obligation to always remember him in our hearts.

Pavel Ovsyannikov, head and chief conductor of the Orchestra of the 21st Century of Russia, said that he could never forget the kind image of Kim Jong Il. He added that Kim Jong Il, the greatest man recognized by the world, will always be alive in our hearts.
