The DPRK-U.S. confrontation has lasted seven decades. Still the U.S. does not know that the army and people of the DPRK would never be browbeaten by any such pressure and sanctions.

One who is unaware of its rival is bound to ruin.

The gangster-like U.S. imperialists, oblivious of their pitiful plight, resort to reckless hostile moves against the DPRK out of their inveterate repugnancy toward it, only to plunge into the abyss of inescapable destruction.

The unreasonable U.S. sanctions will only heighten the spirit of self-reliance of the working people of the DPRK, make them redouble their efforts and boost the proportion of the use of locally available raw and other materials of our industry.

The DPRK has nothing to be afraid of thanks to the firm foundation of the self-supporting national economy provided by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il all their lives and the Workers' Party of Korea' strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of a nuclear force.

The spirit of self-reliance striking terror into the enemies will be further displayed on this land.
