The Insan area of the battle site is where she conducted revolutionary activities in August, Juche 26 (1937) to carry out the strategic policy advanced by President Kim Il Sung on expanding the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle into the whole country.

There she guided meetings of heads of small units and groups of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and underground revolutionary organizations.

She also firmly built secret camps at important places of Rangrim Range, revolutionized its surrounding areas, expanded underground organizations and steadily supplement the ranks of small units, true to the intention of Kim Il Sung. Meanwhile, she organized the work of supporting the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

While staying in a farmer's house in Turungbong one night, she told about the legendary stories about Kim Il Sung and aroused the fire-field peasants into anti-Japanese patriotic struggle.

The visitors laid bouquets and flowers before a mosaic depicting her image and made bows.
