The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK said this in a joint statement on Dec. 18 on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of birth of Kim Jong Suk.

The statement continued:

The life of Kim Jong Suk was the one shining as an example for the world woman revolutionaries.

She joined the Korean People's Revolutionary Army organized and led by President Kim Il Sung and fought hard to beat the gangster-like Japanese imperialists and achieve the independence of the country.

In a number of battles during the anti-Japanese armed struggle she safeguarded the President with her life.

After the liberation of the country she actively aided the President.

The followers of the Juche idea and the Songun idea in Britain look back with deep emotion on her exploits in humblest reverence on the occasion of her 98th birth anniversary.
