The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and art pieces depicting them standing together and paid tribute to them.

The president of the Khmer Democratic Party of Cambodia said that Generalissimo Kim Jong Il was the great hero of Korea and eternal father of the Korean people who turned the DPRK into a country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

He noted that noble exploits of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il would be immortal as they devoted all their lives to the prosperity of the country, happiness of the people and national reunification.

The director of the secretariat of the general secretary's office of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea praised Kim Jong Il as an outstanding thinker and theoretician and benevolent leader of the people as he dedicated himself to defending the dignity of the country and the sovereignty of the nation and realizing the cause of global independence.

He also praised Kim Jong Il as an invincible and iron-willed commander who turned the DPRK into a political and military power, nuclear weapons state and satellite manufacturer and launcher with his original Songun politics.
