Removal of Concrete Wall Dividing Korea Demanded in UK
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK made public a joint statement demanding the removal of the concrete wall dividing Korea on December 25.

It said that 36 years ago the south Korean authorities built the high concrete wall dividing Korea along the area south of the Military Demarcation Line at the prodding of the U.S. to perpetuate the division of Korea.

It divided eight counties, 122 villages, three main railways, three highways and at least 220 minor, it noted.

It said the concrete wall is a symbol of Korea's division and evidence proving atrocities of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean authorities who imposed sufferings resulting from the national division upon the Korean people.

Noting that behind this concrete wall the U.S. and south Korea stage war exercises for aggression against the DPRK every year, it stressed that the progressive organizations in UK and mankind demand the U.S. and the south Korean authorities pull down the concrete wall at once.
