Pomminryon South Headquarters Protest against Shut-down of Its Website

| Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) on Dec. 29 last year condemned the south Korean conservative authorities' step to forcibly shut down its website. The Headquarters said its website was shut down on Dec. 28 by the decision of the media screening committee at the request of the Intelligence Service. The Headquarters branded the Intelligence Service and the media screening committee's acts of suppressing the freedom of thought, conscience and expression as actions against democracy and reunification. The Headquarters declared it would launch a legal action such as filing a suit in protest against the forcible shutdown of its website. |
