The south Korean military bellicose forces are mulling spending a huge amount of funds for purchasing lots of latest war hardware necessary for a war against the north this year, too.

Minju Joson Sunday observes in a commentary in this regard:

Such moves are little different from a prelude foretelling the situation of the Korean Peninsula that can be graver this year than last year.

The moves to purchase war hardware and bellicose outbursts made by the south Korean military elements around the New Year's day clearly proves once again that the south Korean authorities are paying lip-service to "peaceful unification" and "improved relations" but they are engrossed in their ambition to ignite a war against the north. This also proves that the south Korean war-thirsty forces are the chief criminal escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula and bringing the dark clouds of war.

It is the steadfast stand of the DPRK to make persevering efforts to achieve peace on the peninsula and stability in the region.

However, if the aggressors provoke the DPRK even a bit, it will never pardon them but resolutely counter them with its merciless, just and sacred war, great war for national reunification.

In case, the south Korean warmongers launch a war on this land, oblivious of the above-said warning, the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK will deal a merciless punishment to them so that they may fully understand what a dear price they would pay for.
