Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in an editorial. It goes on:

Kim Jong Un's New Year Address serves as a banner instilling ever more ardent patriotic loyalty into the hearts of the army and people of the DPRK.

Last year the army and people of the DPRK won great victories in defending socialism and building a thriving nation and celebrated the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK as the proud and significant revolutionary event of the great Paektusan nation true to the leadership of the party.

Having turned out as one in hearty response to the Party's call, the service personnel and people waged a heroic struggle in the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and through bold army-people cooperation, thus bringing about proud labour results dedicated to the motherly Party.

Only when all the people thoroughly carry out the militant tasks set forth in the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un, they can more strikingly demonstrate the invincibility of the idea and cause of the DPRK this year and win greater victory in building a thriving nation.

A general advance this year is sure to triumph thanks to the army and people boundlessly loyal to the cause of the Party and the might of the single-minded unity true to the plan and determination of the leader.

It is the goal of the army and people of the DPRK and their sacred revolutionary duty to usher in a golden age in building a thriving nation this year when the 7th Congress of the WPK is to be held.
