S. Korean Authorities' Attempt to Worsen Working Conditions Condemned

Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- The Federation of Trade Unions of south Korea held a meeting in Seoul on December 30 last year and denounced the authorities for working hard to impose unreasonable working conditions upon laborers.

The organization accused the Ministry of Employment and Labor of trying to carry out the "administrative guidelines."

To this end, the authorities unilaterally announced the draft "guidelines" without any consultation and discussion with labor organizations, it said.
