The British newspaper The New Worker on December 18 last year carried an article written by Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il.

The article recalled that after the sudden demise of President Kim Il Sung Kim Jong Il creditably carried forward the idea and cause of the President, turning the DPRK into a socialist power.

An article illustrated with his photo was posted on Irkutsk Blog Spot. Ru, the Irkutsk website of Russia, on December 21 last year.

The article said that the international community has watched the most prominent supreme commander over the past period, praising the Songun leadership exploits he has performed by bolstering up the military muscle as firm as a rock and firmly defending the security of the country and its people and peace and stability in the region.

The Bangladeshi newspaper The Daily Folk on December 23 last year in an article titled "Father of soldiers" highly praised him for showing loving care for them as their real father would do, regarding it his noble duty as supreme commander to take care of them and lead them.
