Kim Jong Un's New Year Address Supported by Ugandan and Indian Figures
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Figures of Uganda and India issued statements in support of the New Year Address made by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement said on Jan. 1:

Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address indicated the tasks and ways for bringing about a fresh turn in developing the economy and improving the people's living standard, calling for ushering in a golden age in building a thriving nation in this year when the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held.

He put up slogan "Let us frustrate the challenges by the anti-reunification forces within and without and usher in a new era of independent reunification!" and said that it is necessary to reject foreign intervention and resolve the issues of inter-Korean relations and national reunification independently in keeping with the aspirations and demands of the nation.

The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement fully supports the historic New Year Address made by Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, in which the spirit of national independence is strongly felt.

Harish Singh Khan, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), said on Jan. 3 that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address greatly encouraged not only the Korean people but the world revolutionary parties and the peace-loving progressives.

He went on:

As Kim Jong Un clarified in his New Year Address, it is fundamental to realizing Korea's reunification to prevent the danger of war and safeguard peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

The issues of the north-south relations and national reunification should be settled by the concerted efforts of the Koreans free from any foreign interference.
