Foreign Intellectuals Demand Solution to Issue of Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army
Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- At least 380 intellectuals of south Korea and several countries decided to form an academic body for settling the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to the south Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo.

The "Meeting for Promoting the Establishment of the Society for Study of Comfort Women for Imperial Japanese Army" said this on Jan. 4.

The organization said that intellectuals of south Korea and several countries, including professors and researchers, will organize the "Society for Study of Comfort Women for Imperial Japanese Army" for a correct solution to the issue of sexual slavery.

It noted that a seminar will bring the unlawfulness of the "agreement" made by south Korea and Japan recently on the issue of sexual slavery home to the public at home and abroad.
