DPRK's Access to H-bomb Is Right to Self-Defense: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's H-bomb test and access to it are an exercise of its legitimate right to self-defense and a just measure which allows no one to slander, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article. It goes on: The DPRK's H-bomb test is not a breach of any international law. The H-bomb test and access to it are the right to self-defence to be exercised to firmly defend the sovereignty of the country and the vital right of the nation from ever-growing nuclear threat and blackmail of the U.S.-led hostile forces and to reliably safeguard the peace on the Korean Peninsula and regional security. No country has ever tried to save or sympathized with the DPRK exposed to the nuclear threat and blackmail of the U.S. The army and people of the DPRK have cherished the immutable truth that their destiny should be protected by their own efforts under the grave situation. That was why the DPRK had access to H-bomb of justice. The more desperately the U.S. pursues its hostile policy toward the DPRK, the more thoroughly its army and people will implement the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts. It will exercise all its rights to self-defense undauntedly and legitimately in the future, too. |
