The statement quoted Marshal Kim Jong Un as saying that this year all Koreans should hold up the slogan "Let us frustrate the challenges by the anti-reunification forces within and without and usher in a new era of independent reunification!" and press on with the national reunification movement more vigorously.

It said that all Koreans in China support the patriotic appeal of Kim Jong Un with one mind and will strive to usher in a new era of independent reunification.

It noted that all members of the Federation of Korean National Economic Workers in China will make strenuous efforts to bring earlier the national reunification, keeping pace with the people in the homeland.
